The Practitioner Education Associates, LLC (PEA) team, led by Dr. Denise Ramponi, places an emphasis on presenting complex topics in an easily understandable manner. "Hands on" interactive workshops are our specialty. Participants will improve their confidence in procedural skills after completion. 


Dr. Ramponi (DNP, FNP-C, ENP-BC, FAANP, FAEN) has been a nurse practitioner for over 25 years. She has experience in emergency medicine and acute trauma settings. She works in two busy Emergency Departments. She is an Associate  Professor and Director of DNP programs at Robert Morris University. She has presented at regional, state and national conferences for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Emergency Nurses Assocation (ENA) and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Continuing Education (NPACE).

This interactive "Hands on Procedure skills conference" $425.00 is a series of six of our courses over two days and includes all instruments and supplies (value $35.00) needed for the "Hands on" Skills Workshop Conference. 

12 Lead ECG Interpretation Workshop Describe the characteristics of a normal 12-lead ECG Basic electrophysiology Normal rate, rhythm and intervals, ischemia, infarct, hypertrophy & axis deviations, etc.

Workshop will include indications for splinting, basic steps for splint application, proper positioning, & common splints. Participants can practice application of two extremity splints with fiberglass splints.
